Through the foundation of our contact person Emmanuel Nkrumah in the region around Koforidua, the initiative arose to assist the surrounding rural communities in the preventive measures related to the virus. In Ghana, too, rules regarding distance and personal protection applied, and the schools were closed. At the request of the Compassion for Humanity Foundation, PPEs, disinfectants and educational materials were purchased with a donation from Help Ghana. In a number of villages, group information was given about the risks in the transmission of the virus. The network of the parent committees of the schools made it possible to reach several residents through a snowball effect.
