The Kumawu Technical Institute provides vocational training for underprivileged young people and has seen an enormous growth in the number of students in the past year. Because many students live far away from the school, many of them also stay overnight.
The girls’ dormitory is due for a major makeover, including the woodwork, painting and electrical wiring. Help Ghana has made an amount of €2,000 available for this purpose.
